Also a reminder to please watch the new @TheMuppets special this year! If we want to let Disney know we want more new Muppets content, this is one of the best ways to do so!
2026 is the 30th anniversary of both “Muppet Treasure Island” and “Muppets Tonight”.
Could we PLEASE get the soundtrack of the former on streaming platforms, and the latter on Disney+ and/or a physical media release?

The problem is that every version I find includes and/or excludes segments I distinctly remember. So far, the closest one seems to be “Jiminy Cricket’s Christmas”, except that version is missing at least one or two shorts I’m remembering
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
Today I’ve stumbled upon a rabbit hole of trying to figure out a childhood Disney Christmas special I watched on VHS.
It’s some variation of “From All of Us to All of You”/“A Disney Channel Christmas”/“Jiminy Cricket’s Christmas”
I can’t really say more on the second point without spoiling anything, but to the first point, basically as someone who grew up reading Jedi Apprentice, I really love the pre-Clone Wars era of Star Wars, exploring the stories and relationships of Jedi.
Just finished #TheAcolyte premiere. Obviously no spoilers, but two things I really liked were the general vibe, both of the show itself and also of the Jedi Order, and the fact the show progressed the narrative past its initial trope.
I’m just gonna come out and say it- the Moana 2 teaser made me feel nothing. Not excited, not disappointed, not happy, not sad. I do really like the first one, and I do hope this one is also good, but the teaser is just a whole lot of nothing.
Today, “Steamboat Willie”, the video (but not audio) of “Plane Crazy”, and the book “The House At Pooh Corner”, the book by Milne that introduced Tigger, all enter the public domain.
I will admit that Encanto’s songs are stronger, and I love the vibrancy and energy in that film. But the story beats were tiring for me, and the story dragged a little. I’m aware of the contradiction this statement gives, but both/all can be, and are, true at once here for me.
Saw a video asking how we went from “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” to “This is the Thanks I Get?!”, which is just too funny to me. I think both are great, and honestly the only thing that bothers me about it is that the former is constantly labeled as a villain song, when it’s not.
Overall, I do really like it: I love Magnifico, all the other songs are good, the fact they finally attempted to blend 2D and 3D animation together (like in Paperman) in a full length Disney movie is something I’ve been waiting over 10 years for, and the nods to older films.
