🔄 Q4 is here.

The most important quarter for Orbinum.

🔑 First live verifying-key rotation on Orbinum testnet.

The keys that validate private transactions were swapped on a running network, without pausing the chain, without touching anyone's funds, and without asking users to migrate anything. Your notes from yesterday still spend today.

What the new keys bring: the destination address and the encrypted note attached to a private transaction are now sealed inside the proof. Nobody can reroute a payment or alter its message once it's signed.

🔹 New keys active, old ones retired
🔹 One circuit (value_proof) removed entirely - fees are simpler now, no extra proof required
🔹 Zero downtime, zero migration

🔐 Quest with your own wallet.

Connect Talisman or SubWallet to Orbinum and earn +5 ORB for every on-chain quest you complete, no new wallet to set up, no extra steps.

🛡️Privacy has more than one path.

Our Head of Strategy & Growth, @RHEEUNION, has launched Privacy Chains Decoded, a 10-part series exploring how Orbinum differs from the projects shaping the privacy ecosystem.

#1 Zcash
The origins of the shielded-pool model and the lessons 2026 brought to ZK privacy.

#2 Monero
A fundamentally different approach: mandatory privacy through ring signatures, stealth addresses and RingCT.

Two different architectures. Different trade-offs. Different answers to the same question:
What should privacy look like on-chain?

🔐 Orbinum × SubWallet - now supported.

Huge thanks to @subwalletapp for shipping deterministic sr25519 signing. That's what unlocks it: the shielded pool now works straight from SubWallet.

Shield, transfer, unshield - in the wallet you already use.

🔹 Get / Update SubWallet extension to v1.3.90 → https://t.co/ilEzp8bc0q
🔹 Free ORB from the faucet → https://t.co/aqOzn0zkJ4
🔹 Try it → https://t.co/x7O5krYAdR

⚠️ Browser extension only for now.

🛡️ Validator docs updated.

We know many of you want to run a validator on Orbinum. The testnet has 32 validator slots, and we'll fill them gradually.

To be considered, your node must keep running:

🔹 Watchtower, for automatic updates
🔹 Orbinum Telemetry at verbosity 1
🔹 Hardware benchmarks, reported on startup

We monitor uptime, sync status, and benchmarks through Telemetry, along with the hosting provider and region.

🛡️ Three new validators joined the Orbinum Testnet.

Welcome @AuroraXnode, @NodeStake_top and @CodeBlockLabs , experienced infrastructure teams from across the ecosystem, now securing the network and producing blocks.

🔹 More validators, more decentralization
🔹 Independent operators, independent infrastructure
🔹 Every block visible on the explorer

More applications are in the queue, we'll keep reviewing and onboarding new validators over the coming weeks. Applied? Watch your inbox.

🚀 300K+ transactions. 600,024 shielded commitments.

With just two days left before completing 2 months of Testnet, Orbinum has reached another major milestone.

🔹 300,000+ transactions processed
🔹 600,024 commitments in our first Shielded Pool tree
🔹 840K+ blocks produced
🔹 A growing network of nodes and peers

And we're just getting started.

All network data and activity is publicly available on the Orbinum Testnet Explorer:

🌐 First step to crosschain: we connected to Gargantua.

Gargantua is the current testnet environment for the @hyperbridge network. Orbinum now talks to it.

Soon you'll be able to use it yourself and complete new crosschain quests.

Stay tuned 👀

🚀 Testnet is live. Privacy is on-chain.

Orbinum Testnet is open. Shield, transfer privately, unshield, zero-knowledge proofs, running now.

Start here:

🔹 Get ORB from the faucet → https://t.co/yGGOgORUuU
🔹 Run your first quest → https://t.co/PodOd9EKAW
🔹 Watch it land on-chain → https://t.co/7s1Idulv4S

Testnet Quests are live too. Four quests, repeatable daily, every action earns ORB Credits, and every credit converts to ORB at mainnet.

Shield, transfer, unshield to keep your streak alive. Selective disclosure rewards you for sharing.

⚡ We upgraded the runtime on Testnet. You didn't notice.

No fork. No downtime. No coordinated restart. Blocks kept finalizing while the chain swapped its own logic underneath.

That's forkless upgrades on Substrate: the runtime lives on-chain as WASM, and every node picks up the new one at the same block.

Stay tuned. We'll tell you what we just integrated 👀.

@orbinumnetwork pack it up

[Orbinum Network @orbinumnetwork]

📦 One package to read Orbinum. Zero ability to spend.

The new Orbinum protocol package is live → https://t.co/sglWFHqqzf

Chain access, addresses, encoding, payment slips, selective disclosure. No key derivation, no vault, no proof witness, that code is not in the package.

The old Orbinum SDK is discontinued. It shipped custody to every dapp that only wanted to read the chain. Vault now lives on its own, so wallets get built separately from the apps that talk to them.

[Orbinum Network @orbinumnetwork]

📩 Somebody paid you and nobody told you.

On a public chain the ledger announces your money. Orbinum does not, and that is the point. The note is on-chain, encrypted toward you, sitting among every other commitment.

So your wallet has to go looking. A full Rescan always works, but it walks the whole pool.

A payment slip skips that. The sender already knows which note is yours, so they hand you the string. You paste it, the note rebuilds, no scan. No spend power, no leak, opt-in by the sender.
