My God.
@MayorGinther posted this today only 48 hours after a black man beat a white woman to death with a baseball bat in a domestic violence assault.
That man had previous beat her, but @CityAttyKlein refused to prosecute him for the earlier violence, instead chalking it all up to “criminal mischief”.
Got confirmation this morning that, unlike Deputy Chief Alli who remains relieved of duty for failing to kiss the ring of @1stACPotts, the officer seen on video below who (while marked off sick from work) got drunk and punched a female officer at a bar suffered literally zero consequences. He’s working the street today. He’s been paid over $100,000 in salary and benefits since the assault. No discipline whatsoever. In fact, Potts completely explained his conduct away saying “we’re all human”.
No organization can survive a culture where discipline rests solely on an employee either being “in the club”, or outside it.
This is what @MayorGinther promised. This is Detroit.

Sitting on an explosive set of public records released to me last week by @ColumbusSafety.
Why was an officer hired in spite of multiple removals from the hiring process by @ColumbusPolice and @ColumbusGov Civil Service? Why was an officer who was accused of insubordination, poor work performance and sick leave abuse at his previous employer hired by the Division? Did @DrChenelleJones get involved to help out the officer - her boyfriend? Did @MayorGinther staff strong arm Civil Service in support of Dr. Jones? Did @1stACPotts intervene on behalf of her bff Dr. Jones and overrule her co-equal Ass. Chief Konves’s decision to remove the officer from the hiring list? The evidence points strongly to yes. The only thing we need to tie it together is the public records request that Civil Service has thus far failed to answer.
How deep does Dr. Jones have her personal life intertwined into CPD? We already know that she turned her Civilian Police Review Board position into $100K worth of no-bid contracts for which she wasn’t qualified. We already know that those contracts were cleverly disguised and crafted in a manner to avoid @cbuscitycouncil oversight. We already know that CPD is refusing to turn over the documented examples of her work product for one of those contracts.
Stand by. Civil Service is obligated by law to turn over these documents without delay……
Only three weeks ago, @MayorGinther and @SG_Hardin gave the fossil fuel tycoon Haslam family $20,000,000 and a city park, claiming it was the only way to pay for the Columbus Corruption - the forthcoming women’s soccer team in Columbus.
Today, the Haslams pocketed $300,000,000 from their sale of a huge portion of the @ColumbusCrew. Previously, Ginther and Hardin gave the Haslams $135,000,000 to purchase the Crew in 2018.
The Haslam family bribed Ginther and Hardin with approximately $250,000 in campaign donations. In exchange, Ginther and Hardin gave the Haslams $155,000,000 and a city park.
The Haslams leveraged $250,000 in bribes into a $300,000,000 sale of their interest in the Crew - an absolutely incredible return on their investment.
@Rafalca1@dinger_dudes No, took a second watch to see. He runs in the inside of the baseline in the grass and Umpire judged the poor throw was because of running so far inside. He runs the line he would have been good.
@twennywonnnn@SicklyTheNinJa Yeah it was a throw away DLC and all it was if I remember correctly was pregnancy tests showing negative now. Wasn’t the best place to kill that potential story line. I enjoyed Knight but believe they missed something even greater with the points you mentioned having been cut.
Whelp. Reviewing it didn’t take long. This is insane. $49,950 for this is indefensible. There’s no scenario whereby it’s possible to imagine a report this thin, meaningless and regurgitated requiring more than 20 hours of time. @DrChenelleJones has turned her Civilian Police Review Board position into an ATM. She set the bar for this report incredibly low in her proposal and then slid under the bar.
Entire report is available at the link below.

🚨🚨🚨
Well folks, it appears that @FranklinU professor @DrChenelleJones is actually making perhaps $100,000+ per year, in stacked contracts, each of which is priced at $49,950 to avoid @cbuscitycouncil approval.
I’m working through a stack of documents provided today by @ColumbusSafety, and am still waiting on @ColumbusPolice to meet their legal obligation to provide additional documents without delay.
All of this work appears to have developed out of her appointment to the @ColumbusGov Civilian Police Review Board. Are other board members turning their board appointments into six figure consulting gigs? The additional contracts again appear to be no-bid contracts and there is no indication whatsoever that Dr. Jones is specially or uniquely qualified to provide the services she is contracted to provided.
But wait, it gets even better. Highly credible sources indicate that Dr. Jones used her Franklin title, and perhaps her City board title, to lobby Columbus Civil Service in writing to ignore objections by Columbus Safety regarding her love interest who was rejected for hire by Columbus Police due to disciplinary problems at his previous law enforcement agency. Dr. Jones, along with @MayorGinther executive Staffer Dawn Tyler Lee, may have written emails in support of the candidate for hire, without noting the Dr.’s romantic involvement with the candidate. Additionally, it begs the question - should Police Civilian Board Members be directly lobbying to hire police candidates rejected due to concerns regarding their performance at former agencies? Does this help advance the quality of the Division of Police?
The records of the officers background process have been requested, but like the other records mentioned above, Columbus Police has not yet met its legal obligation to provide them.
Stay tuned. More to follow.
@ATT I am not doing another 6 months of getting this fixed again. You all came out marked your lines on the ground and then left the wires exposed. Please come back out and fix this
@Aportzline someone ask Marchment about international passing the puck to nobody last night. 4 times in the offensive zone he passed the puck from below the net back to the top and it was always to nobody. He would pass it directly in the middle and effectively end the offensive attack.
@lastchalice@dragonage@EA The Keep from Inquisition was full of immersion and it was worth spending time in. The light house is dull and soulless. Veilguard was a horrendous Dragon Age entry that never should have deviated from what the 4th entry was intended to be.
@Aportzline As a fan who has gone to a lot of these blown 3rd periods, it’s the same reason. Sit back let the other team attack and then dump the puck with a spurt here or there of attacking instead of playing the third period just like the first 2. How a coach hasn’t seen this is baffling
@mark_scheig This is what happens just dumping the puck the entire 3rd period for the most part and letting Pittsburgh have all the offensive time they want.
