@nodebate4@TrollFootball Two players tracking a free ball and one stepping in front of the other, beating the other to a spot, resulting in him getting stepped on. Any other questions?
@Kachukwuside1@TrollFootball Yeah, Balogun is clearly targeting the ball/opponents legs; not looking the complete opposite direction at all. ๐ Balogun was tracking the ball and the opponent cut in and stepped in front of him and beat him to the spot out of possession. No intent; not even a tackle.
@TaylorTwellman Data would suggest itโs not much different. # of teams eliminated after 2 group games:
2014: 4 out of 32
2018: 8 out of 32
2022: 2 out of 32
2026: 5 out of 48
I would generally agree with you, though, as competing for top 3rd place spots adds a new dynamic for 2026.
@TaylorTwellman I feel like if you are going to set the line that deep, then you are counting on the keeper to come out and cover inside the 6 yard box
@JHeniades@theChicagoStars good question. he was also hired right AFTER the last draft. there is blame to go around. I am curious what his side of the story sounds like.
