I think Tigers were 70-30 after DH sweep at home against team I forget in 1984 - was there in person while visiting a friend in Indiana. Detroit had several players with Virginia ties: Whitaker, Grubb, Brookens.
Hollywood star Warren Beatty has ties to Front Royal, sports – and maybe Staunton - https://t.co/dTJWqPJDLz
He played high school football in Arlington at same school that produced NFL players Jake Scott, Reggie Harrison, Brian Blados and the late Eric Sievers, a former Terp.
Scott went to what was then Washington-Lee High in Arlington, Virginia - among several NFL players from that school. Warren Beatty played there in the 1950s as well.
NYU WBB has won 76 games in a row, a streak spanning 2.5 years and including back-to-back national titles.
No scholarships, no NIL money, little recognition. So how do you build a DIII powerhouse?
