#clancyla2 was amazing! 3rd time seeing them and they never fail to disappoint, the production level of this tour is insane. Thank you everyone who was there for reminding me why I love this band and trading bracelets with me :D I had the most unforgettable experience ever last-

@cookiethefox As someone who started going to cons at 15 I heavily agree we shouldn't be outright banning minors, they deserve to experience cons too, adults need to stop being weird about it and do their part as the adults in the fandom
It’s sad what the fandom has turned into. I got 3 fleas from the first day of suiting at megaplex and yet, it still made me happy and is a silly thing that’s completely harmless. If you need “consent” or feel like it’s battery or anything more severe, you’re in the wrong mindset
Hot take but everyone complaining about being flea'd at cons have zero whimsy and complaining about such a harmless thing and making it out as if it could genuinely be an issue is such a glaring example of how negative people have become
i wish everyone understood that goth and other alt subcultures are about the POLITICS and MUSIC.
FASHION IS SECONDARY.
YOU'LL NEVER BE A REAL ALTERNATIVE PERSON WITHOUT LEFTIST POLITICS & LISTENING TO THE MUSIC.
I think that people who have been online since the 2000s & 2010s are allowed to grieve the death of the internet they grew up in
Back then, there was a sense of fun and more or less shared communities (artists on dA, animanga communities, etc.)
But now it’s almost all gone
The literacy crisis isn’t just about people struggling to read words. It’s about losing the ability to understand context, infer meaning, question information, and form your own conclusions. And relying on AI to do all that thinking for us is only making the problem worse.
