@GAMERTAGVR They've killed the passion and excitement I had for VR. I very rarely even think about it now or even put a headset on. I'm not alone in feeling this way. I've had my grief period. I'm over it now.
Ship in whatever state seems to be the norm. Thers no money in VR games. Release, cut loses, studio lays off staff or shuts down. It's a sad state of affairs.
There are execptions but few and far between.
Yet another new vr game that feels untested, poor to play and I canโt even bring myself to make a video for this one. I have emailed the developers my issues but while I was writing to them, I canโt help but think the issues I listed are just normal stuff I have experienced countless times and reported on for years. Itโs not released yet so I canโt share what it is, but itโs getting extremely tiresome and makes me worry about virtual reality gaming. I want vr indies to seize this current change in gaming where they can have the main stage. Gamers are really looking for gameplay as top priority, but these games need to have a reasonable level of polish. 20 minutes in and I was done. Something needs to change.
@GAMERTAGVR@Fireproof_Games Ghost Town was a rarity that was so polished and refined, worked flawlessly. The enjoyment of actually playing a game that just works. No game breaking bugs or crashes or the usual 16 patches and six month timelines of fixes after release. It's tiresome.
@MrSurviv0r@TeamYouTube@TribeGreywolfVR I've noticed a ton of this the past month @TeamYouTube must realise this is an issue. This is destroying people's livelihoods. And isn't a good look for YouTube at all.
