I just watched the saddest video on Instagram. A guy had just started driving for inDrive. On his first day, he put 85k worth of fuel in his car, but by the time the tank was empty, he hadn’t even made 50k not to talk of covering the fuel money or making any profit. He decided to call it a day and head home.
On his way, around V.I, his car broke down. As soon as he stepped out to check the engine, about 10 agbero guys surrounded him, some armed with locally made pistols and daggers. They demanded 200k. He explained that he had barely made any money and only had 50k, but they threatened to search his car and take whatever valuables they found.
His two phones were in the car, so he eventually transferred 150k to them. One even put a dagger to his stomach and threatened to stab him, while people watched and walked past like it was normal. How is this still happening in Lagos? Why are these agbero boys allowed to openly intimidate and extort motorists like this?

Just know, your dreams are valid. Dream big and let no one talk you out of it. Only you know what it means to you.
the most underrated act of kindness is letting people be. let them mispronounce a word, talk too much about a show they love, or get excited about something you don't understand. everyone has something that lights them up. let them shine, even if it's not your thing.
Used to get mad when mom posted the ugliest pics of me, but now that I'm older, l realized that she was always choosing the ones I looked the happiest in.

I'm not a Ronaldo fan, but there are things Jorge Jesus did that led to this moment. Jorge coached him at Al Nassr and knows his physical condition perfectly.
He should have been very clear with Ronaldo, knowing his personality. I'm not saying Ronaldo acted correctly, but as a coach, you don't add fuel to a burning fire. He should have avoided inviting him because he was never going to accept it.
To make it worse, he was outspoken about it in the media. If he wanted to retire Ronaldo, he should have done it with grace. I hate to see a legend bow out in this manner. It's too messy for my liking.
