@MW55@NASCAR It’s no longer the first car to go the distance first, nascar stops them and lets the others catch up. (Stages) The whole concept and core of the series has been destroyed. Cars all look the same. Might as well take the sound away too.
@NASCAR - am watching @PGATOUR today instead of racing because the PGA doesn’t stop and restart when a competitor has a big lead. The PGA values tradition and competition. Never thought I’d see the day golf was more exciting than NASCAR but it has arrived.
@gmugg68 Traction bars were pretty much required on the ‘67 Camaro. Both rear shocks were mounted in front and the wheel hop was terrible. They staggered the shocks in ‘68 and fixed the wheel hop.
@GaryNelsonRacer Oxford 250, 1980. Butch and Geoff Bodine lapped the entire field running nose to tail - Incredible race... Butch ran out of gas on the final lap, for the Bodine win. Have never seen another race like it and probably never will.
