@illjoy_ I think it's difficult to look down on the targayens as colonizers when the original inhabitants of westeros were not men, but children of the forest and giants and shit. Then the first men, roynar, andals showed up before the targaryens
@TwasBrillig1 I'd prefer that people post about asoiaf without having read asoiaf, as opposed to their reading comprehension and analysis skills being so poor
@TheGoblinnn I couldn't handle being a neurosurgeon. I could probably swing aeronautical engineering in terms of work ethic and intelligence, but maybe not.
@halfawolfpup Well if you completely ignore the past and that euron will probably steal a dragon to use for his nefarious purposes, the dragons might seem like a good idea. Not to mention dragons were likely created as the result of some pretty disgusting experiments and dark rituals...
@Lavader_ If this is supposed to be 40k, anything but believing that the emperor of mankind is a divine, supreme leader and humanity's savior and only hope is heresy. If they're actually talking about Christianity vs judaism, it makes no sense.
@bhangbhangducx Characters sneer at religion in asoiaf sometimes if they're assholes or disillusioned, but there are plenty of supernatural things that would cause intelligent people to believe in religion. Maesters possibly have some secret mission to destroy the source of magic. To kill gods
@vanikehuman I'm glad that the whole candied bourbon ghost pepper hickory smoked bacon, pick your own topping hotdogs that you can get topped with fruitloops, smashing a whole meal between slices of bread kind of extravagant foods are out of style
@dyingscribe I saw an 80s/90s movie about a nude car wash and it was totally fun and sexy. I guess, in reality, the vibe would just be creepy and awkward.
