I asked her why she thinks the situation has gotten so dire and she had several theories. Covid school closures. Online classes. Parents who aren’t invested in their children. The ubiquity of phones in schools, which makes it difficult for developing brains to focus.

I’m talking to this man and he is telling me that he lost his virginity when he was 11-12, the girl was 16-17. Comme, this is something we need to talk about in our communities. It happens a lot more than we think. I’ve heard similar stories plenty of time, this is not okay!
