Iโm just going to leave this right here.
I used to think education was the key, but now I feel like you can never escape elitism and classism even if you become part of the โupper classโ as an adult because people will always try to clock you and remind you of where/what you (donโt) come from.
There is a conversation about โlow income yt girl eyesโ on TikTok surrounding the Sydney Sweeney โjeansโ campaign & whatโs crazy is I have always thought her eyes made her look broke but apparently thatโs a thing ๐ฉ.
Itโs kind of a sunken/dead look, like you been through it.
Itโs someone walking on the campus of my job with a bonnet on. If you know where I work you know how crazy that is. I couldnโt stop looking because I didnโt believe it.
There were versions of me that did not care about none of that shit but now I have had a lot of time to think and more life experience.
Moral of the story: if you want kids, have them young but not too young though. It will all work itself out.
The statement was made by a 30 something on threads being asked if they wanted kids. I used to want kids and now at 36 I think about it and I feel kind of indifferent. I have had TOO MUCH time to think and now itโs like thatโs a lot of work and child birth is scary
