In direct response to the abduction and death of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, the Defence Headquarters Joint Task Force North West has commenced a fresh major offensive named Operation Clean Sweep III across Matazu Local Government Area and neighbouring communities in Katsina State. The operation, which kicked off on Sunday, June 14, 2026, aims to hunt down and eliminate the bandits responsible for the retired general’s kidnap and subsequent death in captivity, while dismantling their operational networks in the region.

In a statement issued on Monday by Lt. Col. Aliyu Danja, Media Information Officer of the JTF North West under Operation Fansan Yamma, troops have already carried out intensive fighting patrols, intelligence-driven raids, cordon-and-search operations, and clearance exercises in identified criminal hideouts.

The way at which this scam telecommunication company called @MTNNG is stealing my data lately is alarming. I did a data subscription of 90gig which was a 2 month data plan on the 1st of June and it finished today. The photo below is my data usage from May 17 to now, and mind you, I had some data left before I renewed it, so where did my 90 gig disappeared to ? You guys are just feeding on the expense of poor Nigerians because you know you'll get away with it, but know this for sure, your days in Nigeria are numbered, we'll drive you out and you'll go bek to your kentry when that time comes.
