De Leon tacks on a two-point conversion in its win over Haskell in Hawley at the 7-on-7 state qualifier this morning.

The Bearcats went on to beat Hawley in the qualifying round and will be at the State 7-on-7 finals in College Station June 25-26.

De Leon placed second behind Hawley in the Farmer's Walk at the HSU State Lineman Challenge Qualifier in a time of 61.25 seconds.

The Bearcats ended up second with 60 points overall behind Mason (76) in Division IV and qualified for state back at HSU on June 20.
