The DeLorean team was in full force at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, which is the flagship event of Car Week, held on the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links. Concours d’Elegance is considered the world's most premier celebration of the automobile.

We had the pleasure of speaking with numerous major automotive companies and DeLorean enthusiasts from around the world, who are excited about our upcoming EV and the brand's future plans. Everyone has their own unique DeLorean story or a favourite classic DMC feature. In 2022, we revealed the new DeLorean Alpha5 at Car Week and sold out of year 1 production build slots shortly after. Today, we are on track, operating with speed and precision as the average time from concept vehicle to production is 5 years. But we are not just releasing a car. We are launching the car of crypto and the future. For the first time, a major car brand has fully committed to building on-chain, and we are proudly doing so with our partners @Suinetwork💧

Here are several things we have learned from our experience from this years car week and some important feedback we would like to share as DeLorean ascends into the future:

👥 Community: Is everything. But perhaps some of our fellow competitors don’t realize just how important it is to maintain and attract a new and vibrant community to keep up with the times and tech. DeLorean has always been about affordable luxury and inclusivity. We are a lifestyle brand that’s in reach for everyone. By tokenizing our company, we have the ability to connect with our customers like never seen before in automotive. This puts us years ahead.

📕Education: There is a dual education process happening simultaneously. Our Web2 fans who perhaps have never held a digital asset are intrigued and eager to join DeLorean’s new ecosystem. We welcome them with open arms, and we are excited to include them on the brand's new journey. Our beloved Web3 “Degen” community is also learning how a Web2 company would operate in this space. We often see our moderators and fellow community members on Discord helping new to Web3 members set up a wallet or transfer a Time Capsule. Patience pays, and DeLorean is here for a long time, not just a good time. Hype only lasts for so long, but vision and execution lead to legacy.

We like to think of ourselves as the back-in-style ’80s Mullet. Party in the front and business in the back. Although we may be newer to Web3, we are not new to business. We love watching the creativity and the fun that our community has with the brand. One could argue that DeLorean fits right into memetic culture, given its place in pop culture. However, beyond the fun…DMC is an RWA at its core, building disruptive protocols for a very large sector that are designed to enhance the customer experience through our tokenized ecosystem. We hope that our vision and execution will inspire other major brands/companies to jump on-chain and build.

We didn’t dip our toes in. We jumped in…

That is the bold DeLorean way of innovation that has inspired automotive design language and culture as we know it today.
