As we start our racing season tomorrow, Chris Ridgeway '06 has been in nearly all of my thoughts. We loaded the trailer today after practice and I can recall the dance he and I would do as we checked and double checked straps and bungee cords to make sure everything was secure.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sassafras Farms on April 1st in their barn at 9315 Howes Road Dunkirk MD 20754 from 12pm - 4pm. Please dress in celebration rather than mourning.

He instilled in mulitple classes of DeMatha oarsmen his passion for life, his care for others, and his love of learning and rowing. Rest in peace, Chris! Funeral details will be released at a later date.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Chris Ridgeway '06. Chris not only rowed at DeMatha and Catholic Univeristy, but he came back to DeMatha in 2009 and patiently coached groups of freshman and novices.
