July 28, 1794 : I am now deceased. I have been sent to the weapon I have used to kill others. I don’t know where I went wrong, but I do know that what I have done in my lifetime was very important and valuable to France. This is a farewell. Good-bye. 🇫🇷

The following day, July 28, 1794. Robespierre and his 21 other allies caught, were sent to the guillotine without a trial in the Place de la Revolution. The next days after, 82 more of his followers were executed. This is where the Reign of Terror ends.
