Tomorrow the Supreme Court is hearing a critical case about Congressional redistricting.

I hope they will rule that the kind gerrymandering that has protected Bennie Thompson for years is out.

If they do, Mississippi should immediately move to create simple districts that are not gerrymandered to protect Bennie Thompson.

This case is huge for states like Mississippi.

The Rules Committee of the Republican National Committee today elected Mississippi RNC Committeeman Frank Bordeaux by unanimous vote as the new Chairman of the RNC’s Rules Committee.

The RNC’s Standing Committee on Rules is one of the permanent committees of the Republican National Committee, entrusted and empowered to review and propose rules that govern the internal workings of the Republican National Committee and the party's presidential nomination process.
