@Mishimaryu1 It's a cool design, should've been a bonus outfit in 4R. I don't think she dresses like she does to pretend to be a civilian, at least not after 2. Again it's about her showing off her confidence in her abilities and her showing off.
@GacktRhapsodos@talkn_walk I'm not stuck in the past lol, I didn't grow up with the original. I just think it's genuinely that good of a game. The art style, the gameplay, the story and characters, they're genithat good and haven't aged a day.
I don't know why you're mad at me, I like both og and remake
@GacktRhapsodos@Bardorch@talkn_walk I know there are games that technically look better but I still think of FF7 looks good even with those games in-mind. The chibi models are cute, the battle models look really good, and the backgrounds are gorgeous.
@GacktRhapsodos@talkn_walk@spacerunaway_ I like the remake too but the original is also equally great, they're both worth playing. The remake also expects that you play the original before going in.
@Hammerofvulkan If you're gonna boil plot details down kike that because you can't be bothered to engage with it properly then I don't care to continue this
@lol_tenki@Tei_long Claire is an 90s rebellious and young anime biker girl, her designs is really fitting for that. Even then if you need it touched up on the late redesigns did a better job of that with keeping the character.
@Hey_therepixie@chainsawrezi Women don't need to dress cunty in games but most of these redesigns are dull and in the case of Claire loose a lot of characterization.
Also men should be more cunty in games as well.
@Hammerofvulkan I don't like that it's miserable either, but you can still understand almost all of the story even without it outside of what happened to Zack. It's not nesscarry for understand sephiroth clones
@softpiscean I honestly think it's a big part of why we haven't been get many nee RE protatgs, because it's hard making them memorable when they all dress the same
@softpiscean Yeah I agree with you fully, it's lead to really boring designs. I also hate the argue because normal people dont always dress practical when you're going out. Why would say Clair wor Jill need to dressed combat ready in 2 or 3 when they had no idea about it
@Mishimaryu1@Diazxb05 I agree, but that being said I don't mind either design for her, for 2/2R and 4/R. They both show off her putting fashion before safety and how confident she is in her missions. I don't get why people act like her sweater in 4R is the most practical thing ever
@novatjerneld Probably confident she could deal with that stuff anyways. It's also not like she knew about the outbreak before going in or anything so yeah it's not unreasonable for someone to be not practically dressed for this.
@novatjerneld@PrettydumbK1tty It's September in RE2 , so it's not that cold yet. And it didn't rain like it does in the remake. And again, she's a young rebellious biker girl so it's not unreasonable that she'd throw caution to the wind like that. Her being military trained people makes her-
@hina11__ Fighting either, but she's confident in her ability and likes to show off in that regard. It's fitting for her.
I also don't see she couldn't have just been out on the night and then all of a sudden the outbreak hit and she's not ready? How is that out of character?
@hina11__@JemStarGold September isn't that cold usually, and again she's a rebellious biker girl, it's not impossible that she'd throw caution to the win like that. Also idk what to tell you about Ada because that literally is part of her character. The 4R redesign isn't exactly really practical for-
@LovelyLaurenOG@JemStarGold The boots are cartoon-like because these games were originally a little more anime in their art style. And the black under layer is there to make the pink vest and shorts pop and for color distribution.
Maybe the 2000s spinoffs redesign is more to your liking
