@ellalovesbg It’s not a new movie but if you like character stories in your horror movies you may enjoy Within directed by Phil Claydon https://t.co/yik7HUdxUM
@Zee_Garcia Stellar: I didn’t play a lot of 2020 games this year but one very beautiful and great game is Stellar. I didn’t really hear anyone talk about it but I really enjoy it. Fort is another great game but I have only had a single play of that one so far.
@PhantomMeeple @PangeaBG I came here to say the same game and you’re the ONLY person I’ve ever seen mention this game. Tragically overlooked game that has fantastic multi-use cards and a fun theme.
@lukejvenables@DanThurot I’d say if you’re on the fence on whether or not the gameplay warrants the complex rulebook digestion then maybe start with Pax Pamir 2e or Pax Porfiriana. Pax Pamir 2e has an easier rulebook to digest and there are videos on how to play Porfiriana where you won’t need the rules
@BGInquisition I really like both San Juan and Onitama. I tried to explore the small games genre last year and there are quite a few great small box games out there. Some take up quite a bit of table space and some can be super complex/heavy (I’m thinking about Pax games here).
@Punchboarders My biggest flaw is teaching a game. I don’t teach often and dread doing it when I have to. Not sure if I’m bad at it but I can’t imagine I’m great
