the concept of wanting to live in a place so remote and freezing they don't have roads connecting it to the rest of the country more than you would want to live in nova scotia
There are obviously still people who will fight against negative industry trends, but the vibes just feel so different nowadays. It went from a united pro consumer front to a bunch of dipshits begging to get robbed by the industry
I've been getting back into playing videogames lately, and I have been really enjoying myself but my god every time I look at the AAA industry and "gamers" as a culture I shudder
Like gamersβ’οΈ have always been cringe, it is what it is, but lately it feels like they are also just becoming cucks to AAA. Years ago predatory monetization and anti consumer practices would get tons of backlash (I.e. Xbone launch, Battlefront 2, Blizzard's phone response)
@Parker69922 Same with the communist Trudeau Republic unfortunately π (I think there is like one park in Toronto that recently legalized it on a trial run)
fact is you guys played around in english class your entire lives, not taking it seriously, reading the materials through online plot summaries and now you wonder why you donβt actually understand anything
I had a homeless person break into my apartment while I was inside a couple of years ago and pass out on the floor immediately. I locked myself in my bedroom and my neighbors called the cops. When they arrived I opened my window to try and explain the situation to them
Been watching the cops investigate a shooting in my neighborhood for the last hour and have never felt this harder than I do right now. I bet if you guys keep walking around in circles in the street you'll crack the case.
Immediately the cop started screaming at me to leave the apartment and put their hand on their gun while doing so. Thankfully my neighbor came over and was able to descalate the situation and explain that I lived there (what I had been trying to do the whole time)
Sometimes I think about how I was playing RuneScape with a bunch of divorced 40 year olds when I was like 14 and they would tell me about how their lives were falling apart
