The voice behind Urahara and Kankuro passed away 7 years ago today at just 56 years old 🕊️

Michael Lindsay is a performer whose work became part of several series that introduced an entire generation of Western fans to anime.

Lindsay was especially remembered as Kisuke Urahara in Bleach and Kankuro in Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden. Digimon fans also knew him through two very different characters, Joe Kido and Greymon, while he portrayed Amuro Ray in the English versions of the original Mobile Suit Gundam compilation films.
