YouTube gave me a cyberbullying strike for a video that is 100% fictional made-up characters + AI images only. No real people involved at all.
I appealed and was rejected in under 10 seconds. Support chat and your X team both just read from a script and said the strike stands.
Your own Harassment policy is for real identifiable people, not fiction: https://t.co/0iIN5QuaCt
This is nonsense overreach on creative content.

@ReadsRaven@Ponch_monster@TeamYouTube YouTube are now all AI. I’ve never seen them reverse decision for at least five years , you just have to accept it.
@Goto_paulcastle@LBC We all do , because we don’t have to listen to his fake 1930s dictator voice we just need a relief from his face and those fish eyes.
@jk_rowling@KemiBadenoch The Prime Minister of of our time eh, some of these people should pay a visit to the food banks on a Saturday afternoon it’s quite sobering.
@TeamYouTube Hello I received a strike today for bullying on a fictional story . There’s no real person being bullied, no real people in it, AI images it’s a completely made up story I wrote as a television writer and director. My appeal was rejected in under 10 seconds with no proper review. Please look at this specific video. Thank you

YouTube gave me a Community Guidelines strike for "cyberbullying" on a video that contains **only made-up fictional characters and AI-generated images**. No real people are targeted or involved.
Here is YouTube’s exact response after I appealed (rejected in under 10 seconds):
Support chat and your X team both just read from a script and upheld the strike.
Your own Harassment & Cyberbullying policy says it applies to **real identifiable people** — not fictional stories or artistic content: https://t.co/0iIN5QuIs1
This is overreach and hurts creators making purely creative/fictional work.
@YouTube fix this.

YouTube’s official Harassment & Cyberbullying policy does not mention or prohibit fictional stories, made-up characters, or AI-generated images in this context. The policy targets content that harasses or bullies real, identifiable people (e.g., prolonged insults, slurs, threats, or doxxing directed at actual individuals
Hello, the desicion if you can call it that to appeal my strike, was made in less than 10 seconds, so you can receive a strike on youtube for bullying in a video where it is all AI images and made up characters? Please can you confirm this? So I can pass this on to all creators that I know.
