Deadfall is a 10x10 km DayZ map with a 'funneled spawn' progression. Players advance through a CQB chokepoint before entering into a high tier, endgame zone.
@samueljcarlson No, there was no pre-existing basis for it. It was originally just an experiment on player flow design, but as we developed the lore and 'story' it picked up a lot of popular themes from sci-fi and horror media. There's a few fan 'movies' on YouTube but nothing full-feature.

We have always been transparent that the map would be released for anyone to host once completed, but this setup simplifies feedback for development and avoids needless admin tickets response

@TheRunningManZ@scottyb150@InclementDab I appreciate the kind words. The server release was labeled 'Beta' and we've been iterating on all the feedback we've gotten so far. The goal was to gather the full-pop data/feedback then do final work to prepare the mod for public release/hosting, which is now being accelerated
