There was an app like to this I was trying to get working so I went outside and held my iPhone 3GS up high. Bird flew at me thought it was food and me dodging made it went flat on the ground and it white screened

There’s been times I nearly junked it, nearly sold it, nearly gave it to one I don’t talk to anymore for parts. But I never gave up, took advice and it went from no reverse to almost feeling new and healthy again. One day I’ll take it in to get a second pair of eyes on it. 🦔

It’s people like this that I don’t get why they get others involved for being a ‘know it all’. It’s okay to admit fault over something small but if you’re arguing someone you hired telling the truth and declining it then what was the point on even bringing it in? 🙄

Got some big complaints for this week. I know it’s been slow so we’ve been taking in whatever we can get. But that’s been meaning a lot of “DIY fails” who decline the repairs or disagree with me. Had four of those so far.

Today pissed me off. End of day, new service writer is the only one in the office so she comes to ask me if I can explain to the customer what we did (despite having pictures, videos and a written story by yours truly).

Customer starts asking me “so really, it’s battery? I had it tested at costco and they said it had 80% left (mine gave a hard fail).”

Explained it wasn’t directly the battery but the terminal that requires zero effort to pop off. Guy said his car stalled a few times on the freeway. I had it running for almost two hours. He’s telling me that doesn’t make sense because it dies when it’s running. I tried to explain that the terminal is loose and could have lost connection over bumps. It had communication and voltage codes.

He starts telling me he’s “mechanically inclined” and his scan tool said there were no codes. His dumb little handheld. Our real scan tool found faults in a bunch of other modules. But he just kept saying that doesn’t make sense.

Then on top of it, he asks me about the radiator. I had to apologize and tell him I had been made aware of that issue but during my inspection I didn’t see any leaks.

Thanks new service writer. First she dispatched the work order with no customer notes then fails to notify me of all concerns.

Anyway that pissed me off. So I’m glad he took it. Hope it stalled out again. Good luck figuring it out.

I’ve put TONS of work into the MechaBlazer to learn as I go and there’s a few times I wanna take it in somewhere knowing it may be something simple, something I overlooked, but I never gave up. So far I’ve done a very good job on it
