"And I stopped trying to convince you a while back, all I ask is that you aren't so quick to react."
Sometimes she just wished to give people a little wack over the head, this was one of those times. Yet he wouldn't disrespect him like that.
Placing the flowers neatly, he made sure to keep the crown thick and lushes with the flowers she picked. Wanting to make it as beautiful as possible.
"Aww, you really think so?"
He pauses at her compliment, thinking for a moment... before deciding he liked it. Grinning at her, he's already weaving flowers together.
"Thanks. You're pretty cute yourself."
"Of course! It would be my honor to have someone like you as my friend."
A bit surprised, she wrapped her arms around the other, hugging her tightly to herself, almost protectively.
She was not going to protect her new friend, she wouldn't allow any hard to come to her!
-
Her eyes twinkle and shine at her words. The kindness and affirmation given warmed her, a huge smile graced her lips
"You want to be friends? Really? Oh that would be great!"
She suddenly hugged her completely swept in the moment and joy of gaining a new friend

I've unfortunately managed to injure myself, so I sadly have to cut down on activity.
I'll do a hiatus on Persephone and Tiresias, and I'll bookmark longer threads to do later on Apollo and Odysseus.
A little hard to write with only one hand. 😅
"You say you don't care, that all are equal. Yet you're on your high horse when I tried to see if there was any wiggle room in your decision to my request?"
She now crossed her arms, raising a brow.
the king just look at her with a straight face. is she serious?
❝Goddess or not, all are equal to me❞
he don't care about divinity or not, he treats everyone the same
Seeing how quick the love god was to sit down, she followed. Carefully picking some of the pretty flowers around them to assemble her own.
"You're so adorable."
She giggled.
Eros laughs, finding Persephone very cute. He happily follows her along to her chosen field, already plopping down among the flowers and beginning to make his selection for his flower crown.
"I can't wait~"
Be your friend."
She didn't mind such things. In fact, she quite enjoyed both chatting and physical contact.
"Maybe the earth brought us together, so we can become wonderful friends."
Stuffing each flower she'd gotten from Amaryllis into her hair, she then took the others hand with both of her own. Smiling brightly.
"Then they can't see how amazing you are! If they want to steep away, it's their loss. I think you seem lovely, and I'd be more than happy to -
"You're welcome "
Her eyes lit up at that, warm and just feeling seen even if it was for a bit.
"People find me annoying I guess? I don't shut up and too in their space.. So they say "
Her shoulders slumped and her smiled fades slightly as she mentioned it.
"Yet, you have to remember you're not talking to a mare mortal. Don't forget that I am a goddess."
She reminded him, not wishing to be treated as a mortal.
Letting her head rest against the mortals shoulder, she loved the way he made her feel. Throwing shy glances up at him every now and then, without wanting to be caught staring.
"Take a compliment, no explaining it away. Expected or not, you still worked hard for it."
Her giggles made him smile wider, glad he could make the goddess laugh like this. His hold on her was secure and tight as he carried her out of the water.
"I am a warrior, my Lady. It is expected of me to be strong. And you're very light anyway."
Bringing him up to her face and giving him a little nuzzle, before offering him her shoulder.
"I could make you so much, I could even try making it you sized. Full tiny meals!"
Diomedes laughed and readied his spear. Pretending to gaurd against an invisible enemy!
"Don't worry, my Lady. I'll protect you!"
Swinging his spear around-!
Once there would have to be a slip up, she was sure of it! And she would be patiently waiting.
He was such a drama queen, but she understood his worries. Yet who would dare defy him? Few had the guts.
It was something she was working on though, something she expected to -
Spend quite a long time on.
Yet she didn't really need anyone else to see.
To see her husband all stern and cold, compared to how he melted against her. There was something special about that, something only for her.
A soft, content sigh escapes her once their lips parted. -
