@Mrgunsngear Correction; Salmonella is killed nearly instantly with a quick splash of chlorine bleach. Botulism takes a bit longer, but it is also killed by bleach.

@Mrgunsngear The bacteria that is contaminating the letuce is resistant to bleach, alcohol, and the likes. The only thing that works against it is high heat (300F/150C) for at least a couple minutes. Botulism can survive for 20-30 minutes in high heat, but dies with any exposure to bleach.

@carterbanks @arquivocurioso Close; When I worked at 'Black Jack Pizza' we'd roll out a medium sized dough ball into a small size baking tin and spread a butter sauce on it, cutting it after it was cooked, for 'bread sticks', or cover it in mozarella cheese, and cutting that after cooking for 'cheesy bread'.
