Just had the absolute worst experience trying to buy a car from @CarMax :
We call to confirm that the car we want is at the location and we’re told that the car would be reserved for us because it was a 2 1/2 hr drive from us.

Weekend, because of a death in the family and services this coming week. My husband is also only home on the weekends so a day wasted is a big deal for us. I will absolutely never recommend @CarMax to ANYONE- I’ve never had such a bad experience with a car dealership!!

And was unwilling to really help us with a reasonable resolution. All he could was offer 1000 off of the same car that was priced 4000 more than the one we wanted so we would have been screwed out of 3,000 more for our troubles. There was a bit of urgency to getting the car this
