Hamzah & Maisarah from year 12 have been working with PWSH Cardiff https://t.co/GQoJQPTsAb to create this stunning mural to promote deaf awareness. Well done both! Looks incredible. 😃🎨🖌️🦻@LHScardiff#deafawareness#mural#art
I found Glastonbury with interpreters extremely difficult at the weekend. I gave up - it made no sense. (I had no subtitles, auditory back up and I no prior knowledge of what the lyrics might be). It wasn't relaxing TV - it was hard work.
Today is a milestone in deaf education!
A lot of work has gone into getting us to this point, but we won’t stop until a GCSE in BSL is available to every school.

You know you are doing something right when a young (hearing) Mum of two year old deaf daughter comes up to me to say thanks for everything that I’ve do. She signs with her daughter everyday & seen the confidence in her development, seeing less frustration, & being understood.
Really EXCITED with this deaf-led creative programme we’ve scheduled for Deaf Together at @chaptertweets in Cardiff on May 4th-6th. Thanks @Arts_Wales_ for funding this #deaftogether
This #IWD2023 we're celebrating all the Deaf, Disabled and non-disabled women we've had the privilege to work with over the last year. Here's just a few of them, there are so many more. What a team!
