President Biden can #CancelStudentDebt.
This would help close the racial wealth gap and provide relief to tens of millions of workers, people, and families.
Early this morning I was proud to watch VP Kamala Harris cast the tie-breaking vote to push forward necessary aid to help get us through this pandemic.
This never would have been possible without the people of Georgia. This is what democracy looks like.
And with Vice President @KamalaHarris casting the crucial tie-breaking vote, at 5:30am after 14 hours of debate, the Senate has passed a $1.9 trillion budget for COVID relief. Georgia voters made this possible.
"It's a razor-thin margin we've seen out there so far," Gabriel Sterling, Georgia elections official, says while giving a Senate runoff election update. https://t.co/tY9ybXUlwS
Here's our progress report for my project @DeafGAVoteBlue for the past three weeks. Please support by contributing to this project, https://t.co/lAfUHQcOvI. We are working hard to get more people to vote so Mitch McConnell will no longer block bills Americans need!
@_CooLDP Ok. Great. Can you please support Raphael Warnock? We need him to win the election. That way, Mitch McConnell will no longer oppress us. Rev. Warnock is a community healer. We need healing.
@_CooLDP The next few days before January 5th election is super important for America. We need Reverend Raphael Warnock to win the election so he can support Deaf people on Communication, Education, and Jobs.
@_CooLDP Ok. ASL is varied and diverse. There are dialects and signing "come" can be varied. We do not want to criticize anyone's signs based on their ability. Some Deaf do not sign well. Some sign well.
@nancyd_writes@rikkipoynter @EmilyAAddison You are hearing. We are Deaf. You are not an ASL master. You have no grounds in judging how people sign. Please give both of them "A" for their efforts in learning basic ASL.
@EmilyAAddison @LachmanBenjamin @virginiashou Please check out our facebook page and our efforts. I wish you never said these words. Because, reality says differently.
