She had a combined 10 strikeouts across 12.0 innings pitched to earn back-to-back 8-0 shutout wins and recorded her first no-hitter on Saturday.

Alyssa Kelly is named the Big South Pitcher of the Week for the third time this season!

She went 7-7, scored 4 runs, had 4 RBI, 7 stolen bases and 2 homeruns. Lauer finished the series with a 1.000 batting average, a 1.000 on base percentage and a 1.857 slugging percentage.

Denver Lauer earns her first ever Big South Player of the Week honor!

Casey Goguts finished the week with six runs, six hits, seven RBI, four homeruns, and two stolen bases as well as a .375 battling average.

Goguts earns her first career Big South weekly honor as she is named the Big South Co-Player of the Week!

Maddie Drerup pitched 19.1 innings, had 14 strikeouts and with her 0.72 ERA was the only pitcher in the Big South to earn three wins last week.

Drerup earns the first Big South honor of her career as she is named the Big South Pitcher of the Week.

As of last night, USC Upstate was not only the last team in the Big South without a loss, but also the only Division I softball team in the nation without a loss!
