That extra 3 seconds of survival is enough time to get off an extra spell rotation, which for a bruiser means they can use an extra survival tool to outplay. Or assassins it means surviving long enough to kill

@rtchuckles @wittiott @VarsVerum bruisers need both high burst damage and the defense to stay in the fray. instead of giving bruisers a ton of defense, they make it more interactive by giving bruisers very strong tools to convert offense into defense: eclipse, sundered sky, dd, etc. all bruiser items are this

@rtchuckles @wittiott @VarsVerum part of DD is that it requires either a very strong shield spell, a few ad+hp items, or an absurd amount of burst damage to function. olaf is the intended type of user: low hp passive, w shield, and AD from ult. riven has absurd synergy with every aspect of DD, so she is thanos.

@rtchuckles @wittiott @VarsVerum yes. that is the point of the item. it allows a champ with a bunch of AD items to spec into converting burst damage into defense. the item might be over tuned, but conceptually it is a perfect bruiser capstone

@zac_gaming__ they are buffing zac by giving him less counter play instead of buffing zac by giving him brawling power through w or p, this is such a terrible zac buff. they are making him more frustrating to play against instead of just giving zac raw stats
