@HMRCcustomers I have done this and now the tax has increased and says I will pay £5k more next year as my previous employer is still showing! I need help on this and for someone to call me ir sort this out as it is causing me stress.

@HMRCcustomers tried to call the income tax line over a dozen times each time I am told will be put through to the next available person after going through ID, told how you use my details followed by thanks for calling goodbye! I just need to talk to someone as my code is wrong

@HMRCcustomers My tax code is 1257 normal code, I don’t want to pay excess again this months pay! I don’t understand why it’s gone to BR rate as online shows my previous employers end date!

@HMRCcustomers Hi Sofia no it’s this years tax, I changed job 3 February was my last date at my old employer and 6th with my new, been charged BR tax on feb and March pay, was a qtr of my salary for March
