Blue Banded Bee (Amegilla cingulata). Solitary, fast, mellow in temperament. Females live in sandstone or clay burrows. Males are nomadic and cling to plant stems overnight. They contribute to over 30% of crop production using a distinctive “buzz" pollination method.

@mycricky @kelfuller Bushfire jumped the River several hrs ago, havn't heard on the scanner active threats in that area, wind expected to switch SE overnight, WSW or W wind coming days over 40kph would push the Fire front towards Tapitalee/ Cambewarra, current threat is South of Nowra
