A radically different approach to end Female Genital Mutilation, the UNFPA & Ifrah Foundation’s Dear Daughter campaign is rooted in personal empowerment
With support from @GermanyinKenya, we launched the #BornPerfectCaravans project in #Galmudug through a stakeholder engagement on media production to raise awareness of & support the implementation of the #anti_FGM law. The event was officiated by the Minister of Women & HRD.
Change begins within communities. Through #SASATogether, local activists, community leaders, & IAs in #Baidoa are facilitating community-led dialogues that challenge the continuation of #FGM & inspire collective action to #EndFGM. Thanks to @RESCUEorg & @Sweden for their support.
