I respect anyone who has a PhD, because the level of discipline, consistency, and mental stamina it takes to stay committed to solving one research problem for years is definitely not for the faint-hearted.

You can now earn a PhD in China by creating a product instead of writing a 100-page dissertation!
China has grown tired of PhD students writing research papers that no one reads and is now demanding that they build real products instead.
This radical shift in the philosophy of higher education in China represents a formal transition from "textual academia" to "utilitarian academia," where the traditional doctoral dissertation is replaced by the creation of a tangible product. The brilliance of this idea lies in its direct approach to the scourge of "dead research" that consumes years of researchers' efforts only to remain locked away in drawers, thus transforming the university from an intellectual silo into a productive engine that feeds the market and fosters innovation immediately.
Second month of the year!
How much have you worked on regarding that thesis or academic paper?
Writing is about a little by little till you have it all together!
A Happy New Year to us all
May your dreams come true!
May this be an amazing year!
May those boys steps lead you to the finish line
May those still writing do it with grace to self
Enjoy 2026
Dear Graduate Student
Your supervisor is not your friend. Do your work, let them do their work. They're your supervisor.
Don't try to manipulate them with friendship vibes. That ain't their place!
Academics, as mentors to our students, we need to learn a few things:
1. We are dealing with human beings not machines. We can't expect them to churn out results in a minute and not 3 years
2. Human beings bleed, go through turmoil, struggle, lose loved ones.
"It is not a PhD until you've been fried and roasted" is the most meanest (sic) statement any PhD holder can tell a struggling student
