@nomorespikes @tommyreamon That kind of attitude makes it even harder to hire coaches in the building. Principal doesn’t care about win/loss record.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

@CoachDubMaddox He is not joking. Last job, I had to input ALL of the data. I assigned WR coach to coverages, spent an hour teaching him how to do it…he rolls in on Sunday having not watched a minute of tape and is trying to tag in the meeting. This is the new norm.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

@JonWilliams79 It really is, isn’t it? Sometimes we need our kids to give us some perspective.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

Lots of ugly in this football game. I will break it down in the film room. But wonderful day. My kids got to experience the magic that made me fall in love with Clemson! #Clemson #AllIn #GoTigers

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

@BrooksAustinBA Dude. It’s ball. Anything can happen. Some kids somewhere need feeding. This is really a good thing!

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

@Barthol20225217 @kurt13warner More than one way to skin a cat. Personally, I have found pure progressions to be a loser. Can you teach QB to figure out what to delete? That’s the big question.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

@TigerCommenter Agree. You play QB, you get the criticism. Fair or not. I will defend the kid until I am blue in the face. But few will. It comes with the position. You get the glory, deserve it or not, get the blame, deserve it or not.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

You have a very fair way of telling the truth. I appreciate that!!!

[Tiger Commenter @TigerCommenter]

Let me say that none of this is fair to Tait Reynolds. None. He shouldn’t be in this position & his OL/WR haven’t stepped up.

With that said, 7 weeks into the season the QB room Dabo stood pat with has to be in the discussion for worst in the P4.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

@QualkTalk I am more open to it if G4 schools have their own playoff. I watched because it is football…but James Madison and Tulane didn’t do it for me.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

@Trips480v I don’t know if he is fast enough or long enough to flex out much. I do think he can be really good at the naked/slice passing game though.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

Broke down the tape on new Clemson TE commit Wright Martin.

Undersized, but turn on the film: violent, plays with great leverage, and understands the game. He plays like he has NFL lineage.

He is a perfect fit for our H/Fullback niche this scheme needs.

@Trips480v Olsen Pat-Henry serving that role now, but not perfect fit for the role.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

Huge if true. The rest of the season needs to be about evaluation.

[Larry Williams @LarryWilliamsTI]

A lot still up in the air, of course, with the PCSA etc. But Clemson is preparing to spend more than $40 million on its football roster next season. Much more on that here:

@EricMacLain @CanesFootball @CanesInSight @Canes_Wear @CanesWarningFS @OrangeBowlBoys @kellygramlich @theACCDN @Manny_Navarro @CaneSport This dude is a beast. Most fans don't notice, but incredible in pass protection. Clearly wants to be elite at it and puts in the time. He STONED Sammy Brown over and over.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

@BrooksAustinBA Brooks, everyone thinks they can grill and coach football. Most can’t even make a decent burger.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

It’s not that I hate the ACC, lots of history here. It’s just been poorly managed. I think the financial side of it makes it unfeasible for big football brands long term. I want to be in a football conference. Too many freeloading members.

I also think it’s absurd that football powers like Clemson/FSU/Miami have to fly to California and play at 10:30 pm on a Friday night.

New conference needs better payout, reasonable travel, and playoff access.

[Ball Coach @DeathValleyFR]

To be honest, I have not watched Mestemaker this season. Need to do that. I like Chambliss and a lot of his game translates to the NFL. Mensah, besides being pinpoint accurate and poised, does incredible things that don’t always pop to the untrained eye. He is SO SMART…eliminates routes pre snap, hard to fool, and quickly gets to check downs when he needs to. GMs dream.
