@AscendantNomad No, WE'RE the Gardener's Champion. Us, the player. The Winnower breaks the fourth wall all the time to directly address us in lore cards. My guess is The Winnower was going to be revealed as the game's AI which grew sentient through learning how we, the player, play the game.

The roads behind the EDZ are no longer blocked with energy walls and can be accessed (it’s a huge loop). PLUS Osiris’s Hideout from the Red War campaign is accessible as well.

@trulyyblu @Aztecross All truth. Think about how many times people said "[Insert Game Here] is a Destiny Killer" only for Destiny to either outperform it or outlive it. Sadly, the only thing that killed Destiny was poor management holding the developers back.
