Paint until the HEMA nerds are happy!
This post was brought to you by fanatical family and friends who made "ree"ing sounds until everything was just right. :P
12 unique frames across 4 animations.
@valensiyagames Thank you!! I've even added a few more tones since then, and I've got a LOT of diversity planned for the LPC portrait pack when I release it!
Took a look at my skin tone ramps, noted that a few didn't blend quite as well as they should. Fixed and expanded!
(I've also been playing around with some portrait designs! Here's one of the four feminine bodies I've drawn so far.)
Here's some (but not all) of the work I've done for LPC Revised in 2022! Much more to come!
For those who aren't familiar: LPC Revised is CC-by-- free to use, even for commercial games!

This may (not) shock you guys, but I'm not much of a social media person. What's a good art/indie dev sharing platform, now that Twitter's collapsing?
I'll keep this active for now, but it seems a good time to branch out.
Hypothetically-- if I made a paper-doll character portrait pack, 256px square seems about right?
Designing assets as assets and not for any particular project can be so weird sometimes.

Welp. Either Covid came back for a rematch, or two weeks after fighting off Covid I got sick with something else.
I'm just starting to feel human again. I'll be painting in small bursts for a few days, I think.
@SelieltheShaper @Patreon I'm gonna need to see it to make a decision, but I can see why they're doing this for mobile. The banners are TINY on a small screen, and they don't look their best.
Fortunately for us, pixel art logos upscale easily.
Pros of an SO who fences: reference material!
Cons of an SO who fences: accidentally instigating a passionate rant, wherein it is explained that all video game slashes are terrible... :D
I caught Covid about ten days ago. Nasty and painful, but not terrible compared to what it was like when I had it in 2020, pre-vaccines.
For some reason, my disease ridden brain decided it needed to spend the days drawing pretty buildings.
