@TheChrisWray@supertanskiii@SalfordSaxon They didn't pay for those, nor did they privately receive the results of said polls so it isn't counted as any sort of benefits or donation.
If some dork wants to pay for polls and give them to the media then they can do that, even you could manage it.
@Matthew_Gilson@Artemisfornow The vast majority of politicians did, so it isn't surprising.
The fear campaign did a good job especially on those in politics.
@RB_Lowestoft@HoneywellCassie@JohnCleese Correct, Restore can't even organise a press conference to introduce policies to the nation. Got no idea why, they apparently have the money and Lowe has had two Parliamentary breaks to do so.
I suggest you think about it and ask the right people the right questions.
@RB_Lowestoft@RachelHale9920 That was 2024, the new policy came out in 2025.
In 2024 and 2025 Lowe was praising Jenerick and Braverman so please stop trying to apply different standards.
@4fHepcat@claire_adams694@christopherhope@GBNEWS Who asked him to lie?
He didn't volunteeringly point out the stage and audience tricks the Tories used at their conference, so it is a bit curious that he would do this?
It was a press conference announced yesterday, in Westminster, during working hours.
@JAHeale Where was the pre-budget held for the Tories held?
Westminster is hardly a reform heavy area hence the lack of a crowd, and the fact that is is during normal work hours.
Do you expect a group of well meaning farmers and nurses to be able to out fox Whitehall, the Quangos, the Lawyers, the Judges, the NGOs? Do you truly believe that they will get any real change as the House of Lords is currently debating to prevent any meaningful change is an insurgent party wins?
Without any political experience?
Absolutely laughable.
Politics became a career for a reason and experience is valuable, does Tory influence need to be limited? Absolutely, but to try and do anything with a group of novices would be a fools errand.
Please wake up to reality.
@christopherhope@GBNEWS We are at work and Westminster isn't local for most of Reforms base ๐
Why didn't you point out the similar tricks the Tories used at their conference?
They know the part they played but they also resigned after trying their best to change things.
Unfortunately Blair has changed the political system so much that even being Minister you can't do what you want without agreement from the Prime Minister, cabinet and those in the shadows behind the party. The Defectors didn't have that support in the Conservatives, which is why they left and why we should all be suspicious about their apparent change of heart.
Bravermans book it certainly an eye opening read.
I became very curious about why no one was stepping up and fixing issues and I have sort of figured out part of it.

I note that you didn't actually refute anything I said, just insults and assumptions.
Has Restore had a single press conference? Yes or No.
Has it presented any policy to the wider public and allowed journalists to publicly question its contents and application in the real world? Yes or No?
Now, does that sound like a serious party to you?
Why have Conservative councillors been allowed to join?
What happened to the naming of people under parliamentary privilege Lowe promised? Where are the prosecutions?
What happened to the money people donated?
Please do tell or just don't answer if you can't, don't waste both of our time.
@MrMatRead@Neccccy Because London votes differently to the rest of the country.
Any city centric polling is always going to be different from polling that is representive of the entire electorate, this applies in all Western nations, this isn't a secret or a conspiracy.
Do you think a party of well meaning farmers and nurses is going to be able to out fox Whitehall, the Quangos, the lawyers, the judges, the NGOs, and even the House of Lords, who are currently trying to find ways to stop the reversal of Blair's damage?
Or do you think a little bit of political experience might be needed for that?
@J_Clements_2001@AnnaLongthorp You realise that the pressure from their social circles and the want to secure a job after politics means they'll never actually do what they are saying the will right?
They keep re-selecting candidates that will enviably lead to the same bench back revolts we see with Labour and looking at Tory history a leadership overthrow. Especially if they ever won a small majority in which the leadership would have to keep pretty much everybody in line. A near on impossible task in a party that is still obviously part Lib Dems.
I don't know what these people have on the Conservatives to keep getting reselected, tbh.
