Supporting students and families during the college admissions process. Member: IECA, NACAC, NEACAC. Ask me about adoption issues in college admissions.
My thanks to the many folks who voted for me as best college counselor in the 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards sponsored by inRidgefield, LLC and 068 Magazine! https://t.co/4XKzQCz9Rn
I had a terrific visit to @bentleyu this past weekend, attending the hockey game Friday evening and touring campus Saturday morning. Photos from my visit are on my website at https://t.co/wWy0bERxjZ but I’d like to highlight a few that showed me that Bentley…
The Baltimore Collegetown Network's Collegetown & Gown Tour was a "swagstravaganza!" Baltimore is a great city for college students. If you support students as they move through their college admissions journeys, this tour is one you don't want to miss.
Ask me about Towson University! This mid-sized public institution is bursting with spirit. With increasing support for undergraduate research, D1 athletics, an honors college, and more than 110 majors, minors, and concentrations, there's something for everyone on campus.
Ask me about Goucher College! This was my second visit and I still love this gem of a school. This liberal arts college has a diverse student body and offers dual degree and accelerated pathways programs and an internship accelerator (which ensures equitable access for all).
Ask me about the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA)! With 2750 students and one million square feet of arts spaces, this vibrant arts institution is an exciting place to learn and study. I wish we had time to visit all 14 galleries on campus! Photos https://t.co/wWy0bERxjZ
Ask me about my (second) visit to Johns Hopkins! Pairing liberal arts with a research-driven education, this 5600+ student university in Baltimore offers more experiential opportunities than there are students to fill them; 85% of students complete at least one internship.
Ask me about my visit to Morgan State University! The excitement was contagious at the nation's third-largest HBCU! Almost 12,000 students, D1 athletics, Divine 9 Greek life, more than 170 student clubs/organizations, and their student panel was the best I've EVER heard!
They offer engineering and business programs on top of the traditional majors in arts and sciences.

Ask me about my visit to Loyola University Maryland!
With it's proximity to downtown Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington DC, Loyola is a popular choice for poli sci students, but they are also growing their nursing program and building an addition to their science center.
Ask me about Notre Dame of Maryland University!
This small Catholic college recently went co-ed, boasts a 100% NCLEX pass rate, and offers both direct entry nursing and a nursing pathway. If you have an AA degree from a Maryland community college, 100% of your credits transfer.
Ask me about my visit to Coppin State University! Students at this Baltimore HBCU were enthusiastic about their studies and their school. We learned about the many layers of support in place to ensure that students here make it to AND THROUGH college successfully.
Ask me about my visit to UMBC, an R1 institution educating approx. 11K students on a beautiful campus located just outside of Baltimore. They describe themselves as a "Community of Inquiring Minds" and noted "We cannot be excellent unless we are inclusive."

@thegridkid How did 45D get through the editing process?? The correct answer should be AVOT. You would never allow the answer to “Parisian waters” to be “EAUS” because the correct answer is “EAUX.” Why allow this??
