National-level shooter Tara Shahdev.
In 2014, she married a man named Ranjeet Kohli, but later discovered that her husband had concealed his religious identity and was actually Raqibul Hasan, posing as Ranjeet Kohli.
Raqibul Hasan, his mother Khushaar, and Mustaq Ahmed, a vigilance registrar, pressured her to convert to Islam.
She was even beaten and tortured, but she refused to convert. Later, she was rescued and hospitalized. Then, she decided to fight a legal battle.
Nine years later, in 2023, a CBI court sentenced Raqibul Hasan to life imprisonment, Kushshar to 10 years, and Mustaq Ahmed to 15 years.
Tara Shahdev fought her battle bravely for nine years.
If this can happen to a national level player then you can imagine what would happen to an ordinary girl.
Scenes unseen in Bengal politics for decades. Both CM & LoP side by side in coordination to welcome the Governor. With Mamata Banerjee gone, the good culture is finally returning back to the Assembly.
Bangladesh 🇧🇩 : NCP politician said that : "Hindus will no longer be allowed to celebrate any religious festivals in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a Muslim-majority country. If Hindus celebrate any religious festivals here, they will be forcibly driven out"

NDTV journalist Gargi Rawat claimed that students of Kids World English School in Jalna district performed to music from Turkish TV series Ertugrul.
This is an attempt to whitewash the incident.
Fact is:
1) School children performed with dummy swords to the Pakistani song - "Gustakh-e-Nabi Ki Ek Saja, Sar Tan Se Juda".
2) A photo of Pakistani extremist and assassin Mumtaz Qadri was displayed in the background.
Maharashtra govt has shown zero tolerance towards the incident and has already ordered a probe into the matter. A case has been registered against the principal and two teachers of the school.
TMC Panchayat Leaders Accused of Fund Misappropriation; Upapradhan Beaten by Locals in Howrah
Residents staged a protest at the Sapuipara Basukati Gram Panchayat office in Howrah over allegations of fund misappropriation against the TMC panchayat pradhan and upapradhan.
Locals alleged that during the Trinamool government’s tenure, ₹6,000 was collected from each household in the area for a drinking water line connection. They said the connections were later provided free of cost, but the money collected from residents was not returned and was misappropriated by the panchayat pradhan and upapradhan.
On Tuesday, residents gathered at the panchayat office demanding a refund of the money. The protest escalated, and the situation turned chaotic at the panchayat premises.
During the protest, the crowd confronted upapradhan Soumendu Gayen. He was allegedly beaten by the agitated residents.
Footage from the panchayat office shows the tense situation:
In Bukkanpur Gram Panchayat (Babhanjot Block, Gonda, UP), a new 'Pir Baba' Mazar has appeared inside the Hindu cremation ground.
Its operators are cheating Hindu women and now claim Hindus must cremate their dead in the forest.
Please take immediate action.
Massive public outrage after 14 Gau-Rakshaks have been slapped with life imprisonment by Judge Tabassum Khan in Narmadapuram, MP, in a 2022 alleged lynching of a muslim man in a cattle smuggling case.
Why the state was named as West Bengal ~
In 1947, the question arose whether the United Bengal Province would remain in India 🇮🇳 or become part of Pakistan 🇵🇰.
Three proposals were placed:
1. Bengal would remain undivided.
2. The whole of Bengal would go to Pakistan.
3. Bengal would be partitioned~ the Muslim-majority eastern part would go to Pakistan, while the Hindu-majority western part would remain in India.
Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee led the movement in favour of keeping the western part of Bengal (later named as West Bengal) as a part of India. On the other hand, Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy proposed the plan for a United Bengal.
📌 In the historic vote held on 20 June 1946, the first vote was on whether Bengal should be divided or remain united, and which Constituent Assembly it would join.
Separate votes were then held.
📌 Second vote (Muslim-majority areas):
The members from East Bengal cast their votes.
Results:
106 votes in favour of keeping Bengal undivided
35 votes in favour of partition
This meant that a majority of the East Bengal members wanted the whole of Bengal to go towards Pakistan.
📌 Third vote (non-Muslim-majority areas):
The representatives of the western part voted in a separate session.
Results:
58 votes in favour of partitioning Bengal
21 votes against partition.
This meant that the representatives of the western region clearly decided in favour of dividing Bengal and becoming a part of India.
The question then arose: if the East Bengal members supported a united Bengal, while the representatives of the western part voted for partition, would Bengal be divided or not?
According to the Mountbatten Plan, if any one part of Bengal voted in favour of partition, Bengal would be divided.
Since the representatives of the western part voted 58–21 in favour of partition, the division of Bengal became certain.
Ultimately, this led to the creation of a Hindu majority western province within Bengal, which was named as ‘West Bengal,’ described here as the homeland of Bengali Hindus.

Criminal and deliberate obfuscation of facts by Indian media.
Action is being taken against the school not because it was playing a Pakistani song, but because it was openly celebrating terrorists and had its students brandish swords amid beheading chants of Sar tan se Juda.
