Deb ran a race focused on Lawrence’s people and it’s future. She made history tonight as the first African American mayor in the history of Marion County!
Thank you, Lawrence. I promise to do my best to serve every citizen of this great city as your Mayor. Tonight we celebrate, tomorrow we get to work. #ilovelawrence

Let's build a better Lawrence together—with better job opportunities, new development, better transit options, and fully funded public safety departments.
Let's move Lawrence FORWARD with Deb Whitfield. Vote TOMORROW, November 7!
It's time to improve connectivity and transit in Lawrence. Deb will work closely with IndyGo and other partners to provide more transit options for our residents so we can all get to where we need to go.
That means more connectivity to jobs, leisure activities, and services we all need. #itstime
It's time we focused more on our neighborhoods in Lawrence—with infrastructure repairs, adding more sidewalks, and increasing the connectivity of our city. Deb Whitfield won't play favorites—she will serve the entire city of Lawrence like they deserve. #itstime
You can vote Saturday AND Sunday from 11am-6pm at the Lawrence Education & Community Center (LECC) at 6501 Sunnyside Rd. We will be there all day greeting voters, answering questions, and sharing my vision for a better Lawrence.
See you out there!
Another great day in Lawrence! I was so honored to be joined by Congressman Bennie Thompson, the Chair of the January 6th Committee, Mayor Joe Hogsett, and Indy Council President Vop Osili at a rally at the early vote center here in Lawrence this afternoon.
It was inspiring to hear Rep. Thompson speak about his decades of experience serving the public and about stepping up to help protect democracy in response to the January 6 insurrection.
Truly the perfect way to head into GOTV (get-out-the-vote) weekend. Now it’s time for everyone to step up and make your voice heard!
HAPPENING NOW: Congressman Bennie Thompson, the Chair of the January 6th Committee, Mayor Hogsett, Council President Vop Osili and our next Mayor of Lawrence: Deb Whitfield!
Come down to the LECC this weekend from 11am-6pm and cast your vote early for Deb Whitfield and our Democratic ticket! It’s time!
Deb Whitfield's plan for more growth in Lawrence means better paying jobs, more businesses moving to Lawrence, and more amenities for our residents.
Deb will be the salesperson for the city—bringing in new development and new opportunities for Lawrence. Cities all around us are booming, while Lawrence in moving more slowly. Deb will change that and attract the jobs that we deserve—high-paying jobs with good benefits! Vote Deb Whitfield on or before November 7! #itstime
Thank you to Kara Kavensky and the @indyrecorder for sitting down with me to talk about my life journey and how it's led me to running for Mayor of Lawrence. #itstime

Deb Whitfield is committed to keeping our city safe as your Mayor. She is a proud @MomsDemand Gun Sense Candidate and will work with public safety, community, and faith leaders to reduce gun violence in our city. She will also continue to support our public safety departments by providing the funding and resources they need to do their jobs effectively—just like she has done on the Council.
Vote for Deb Whitfield for Mayor on November 7 and usher in a new era for Lawrence! It's time!
We are out here with Trustee Steve Talley and @IndyMayorJoe at the LECC at 6501 Sunnyside asking for your vote! Hours are 11am-6pm every day through Sunday! Please come out and make your voice heard. #itstime
