I know how hard it is when God doesn’t seem to be moving in your life. But what if you are living a slow working miracle, sweet friend?
God loves us too much to answer our prayers at any other time than the right time, and in any other way than the right way.
I grow increasingly concerned that we have a massive population of people who have placed their faith in Christianity rather than Christ. And an odd concoction of Christianity at that. Faith in Christianity is utterly bereft of power to save a single soul.
Jesus saves.
You can't get the enemy away from your table by fighting the enemy out of your table. You get the enemy away from your table by inviting truth to your table. @louiegiglio https://t.co/LEV0TLpNQI
God loves you enough to boost you when the race is long and the finish line feels far away. Keep walking by faith, because you will one day walk across that finish line.
When life is hard, showing up is often the bravest thing you can do. What does it mean to show up? Rather than running and hiding, you just simply do the next right thing. You face what you fear, and you feel it so God can heal it.
I still believe in the transforming power of Jesus. I still believe that prayer leaps walls. I still believe good overcomes evil & light pierces darkness. I still believe God can do anything. And I still believe in the certain hope of that day to come when night will be no more.
Most of the time, God doesn’t reveal what’s next. But most of us never learn to walk by faith until we walk in the dark. So, if it’s dark, keep walking and trusting. Every step you walk with Jesus will lead to where He has planned for you to be.
I’ve experienced men and women working together, and I’ve been enriched by it. I’ve read of the impact of women’s empowerment has for the whole global community.
I remain completely convinced through the Scriptures that true mutuality is the original sacred design of humanity.
There is a mighty movement of women who choose to walk by faith, refuse to be afraid, and will not give up or give in. These are the women of God! They celebrate the ordinary, press on when life gets tough, and hold their chins up with dignity! You are one of these women.
I can feel my insides healing up a bit. Life going on. So grateful to God. You think certain stuff will kill you then you just keep waking up to just enough manna to make it another day. And one day down the road a few years later, you realize you may be okay. He held you tight.
A Colorado supermarket. Shoppers stocking up as snow is forecast. A gunman. Ten dead. Like a war zone. Another horrific gun tragedy. A brave police officer loses his life to save others. District Attorney promises justice for victims. A city reels. A nation watches. #JesusWept
