I've watched it twice now and mulled things over. I don't know if it was wise to address the issue this way, because a proper PR statement would probably have been better. To me, at least, this felt like a weird backhanded compliment—a veiled attempt at showing accountability that still sought to reprimand the Blooms who gave them feedback, dahil sa "sobrang sakit na feedback" ang natanggap nila.

It feels disingenuous, from the tone down to the way this was set up, which capitalised on the effort of making us feel bad. It just looked so unprofessional. Maybe I'm just not used to hearing a company's spokesperson talk to fans this way, though maybe that's why professional standards are a thing, too.

A well-thought-out PR statement from their management should have been posted to all their platforms when the EU leg was cancelled, but I guess we can't keep beating a dead horse, huh? You'd think that should have been industry standard, too, but I guess not.

And blaming the war and oil crisis, when that could've easily been avoided with research and planning on their end, is just another kick in the shin.

Personally, it's just so fascinating to me how a big corporation like ABS-CBN can fumble this much, na para bang wala silang experience sa paghawak ng PR crisis o mga malalaking business situations like this. Why are they so unprepared and unprofessional? Genuinely asking, because I'm kinda confused about whether this is straight-up incompetence or just plain lack of leadership within their company.

Hays… anyway, I hope the girls get their much-needed rest after this World Tour. I hope they get to enjoy the fruits of their hard labour and come back with a proper team to guide them into the next stage of their careers.
