@_hxneyglow I was a senior in hs but still imparted true wonderment and awe in ways no other movie has replicated. Very happy you get to see in theaters :)
@barbarismcrit@Samuel_Lipson You also have to show that the person had "actual malice" which means they actually knew their statement was false or at least it can be proven they actually had very good reason to think it was false. From my understanding in practice this is a *very* high bar to hit
@barbarismcrit@Samuel_Lipson It is a higher bar for public figures rather than regular people. One thing you have to show is "reputational damage" which can go beyond financial damage, but it does have actually occurred in reality (not sure what the universe of possibilities are, not my area)
