In a country where vehicles are paid for in full? You want companies to upgrade their fleet?
More like an excuse to drive away operators and bring in those who already have fleet of new cars.
Nigerians want to mind their business and not be in politics but politics is minding their businesses!

WFH feels like a blessing, but for immigrants in corporate, invisibility at work is already a problem, and working from home can sometimes make it worse.
Here are 5 ways to stay visible, relevant, and promotable when you WFH as an immigrant in the UK 🇬🇧. 👇🧵
Make no mistake, Obi/Kwankwaso is a very strong ticket. If both of them are genuine in their intentions to win the 2027 election, they will give Tinubu a run for his money.
Make no mistake, defeating Tinubu won't be an easy ride. Not because Tinubu has done so well, but because it is Nigeria, and nobody can explain Nigeria to you.
@StanbicIBTC Been trying to change my phone number on my account and it’s improving impossible. I can’t log on to my app as OTP keeps going to the number I have no access to.
Tinubu is moving with the audacity of someone who thinks he can’t be stopped. No leader should ever treat us like he’s doing us a favour. He was practically laughing at people’s corpses while their bodies were still warm. He can be stopped.
We need more British people to be educated like this guy.
The elites look for who to blame and the easiest option for them is to blame immigrants. They keep fooling the uninformed populace who would not even verify anything.
If you received a DM regarding LunariGame, do not click the link in their bio or on their website. Some X accounts were compromised and they are spamming people’s DM. Repost for more reach.
For the avoidance of doubt, this is completely wrong-headed, dangerous talk, and it is exactly how someone who wishes to maintain you in poverty would like you to think - so that instead of pushing to change leadership systemically, we accept the puppet leadership that was clearly imposed on us, after all "it's our fault."
Everytime you repeat this trope, you're acting like a rape victim who - instead of reporting the rape to the police and publicly calling out the rapist - instead keeps quiet and blames herself for having been in the situation that led to the rape.
No matter how many foolish, dishonest, tribalistic morons exist in Nigeria (and we all know there are a lot of them), Nigerians as a collective never "agreed" that our destiny should not belong to Nigerians, and that people on another continent who cannot pronounce our names should impose Bola Tinubu and Muhammadu Buhari on us so that our economy can shrink 67% in the 10 years between 2014 and 2024.
Saying that Tinubu being in office is proof that he "reflects our collective values" is like saying that Burkina Faso's collective values were represented by Blaise Campaoré - who spent 27 years in power after murdering Thomas Sankara. It's like saying that South Africa's apartheid regime "reflected the collective values" of black South Africans, after all it lasted for many decades.
Rich white men from DC, London, Brussels and Paris have imposed your current political class on you. You are living under foreign occupation. It is exactly the way it was prior to "independence" where the coloniser remained abroad and his local representative who looked and spoke just like you plundered your country on his behalf. You need to come to terms with that reality.
Just because Bola Tinubu is a black man like you and he speaks your African language doesn't make him the "reflection of your collective values." That would be like saying that because an axe was made from a tree, that means that it reflects the "collective values" of the forest. Stop trying to run away from the mental discomfort of realising that white men still rule you - you are NOT free, independent or sovereign.
You just have a flag, an anthem, and some symbols. Your institutions are still controlled by the colonisers. They write your laws. They control your media and civil society. They control your education. They control your economic policy. They control your "leaders." If a leader arises whom they do not control, kindly refer to what happened in 2015. They will soon control your food too. None of this was done with anybody’s consent, so to say that it "reflects" anything about us is at best, uninformed stupid talk, and at worst, dangerous, self-reinforcing propaganda.
The only thing it "reflects" about us is that we have never fought an actual independence struggle, and so we haven't figured out that the negotiated "ndependence" we got in 1960 was fugazi - a coloniser has never negotiated himself out of power before.
