I am introducing legislation entitled the ‘ASAP Housing Act.’ ASAP stands for Accelerated Supply of Affordable Production.

The ASAP Housing ACT would end the federal cap on affordable housing known as “volume cap.” The time has come to stop capping the amount of affordable housing in America.

Today, I held a press conference to announce The ASAP Housing Act, which aims to remove the federal cap on affordable housing.

This legislation would increase the supply of affordable housing and address the pressing housing shortage.
