I've been talking networks & learning communities today. They can have a significant impact in an organisation or system. They enable people to connect & share across boundaries. They shorten lines of communication. They help people to do what they know how to do & learn how to do it even better. But networks & communities don't just happen. They need to be nurtured & supported to mature & grow. They are typically worth the investment.
WOW, thanks to everyone who has shared and donated to this cause. We have now surpassed our £1000 target. Unbelievable and emotional!!!! 🥰🥹

Enjoy your well deserved retirement @SusanSloan08 . Thank you for your support, guidance and expertise through the years. Most of all, thank you for your kindness❤️. The world would be a far better place with more Sue Sloan’s in it ❤️.
We might think that being a perfectionist leader is a positive thing; it means we work to high standards & strive for excellence. But it isn't. Perfectionism has an overarching detrimental effect at work. It's exhausting & it predisposes us to harsh judgments of others who are less than perfect.
