going full mask off & saying their goal is to bully queer fans & shippers they don’t like out of the fandom & convention spaces. acting like this is about a ship when JA’s comments clearly have been taken by these people as the go ahead to be vile
and tagging CE is fucking crazy
-what he thought was best for his show. There is plenty of actual misogyny involved in the show and the writing choices as well as the fandom. Fight this off instead of making stuff up.
@dxccanon I've said this before but good proportion of the denial around Dean's bisexuality comes from fangirls of whatever age that have a crush on him or his actor and find bi men undesirable/non manly enough so they try to ignore it's part of him bc it ruins their fantasy++
@dxccanon this inevitably affects Destiel perception as well bc they don't want to see their "macho man" being in love with a man, accepting would force them to accept his bisexuality which will make him less "sexy"/undesirable to them
@fan0nball -and the character a chance, calling the show amd the writers homophobic amd queerbaiting, all their efforts sinked down the toilet bc Jensen said so, and queer fans gst hate,bi men like me ,who just saw themselves on the character as intended included
@fan0nball No but Jensen is the only person to be quoted as evidence against bi Dean. You can't speak about bi Dean bc his fans will tell you Jensen said Dean is straight amd doesn't matter what any writer says. Which actually makes a lot of people not wanting to give the show-
-that Dean is bi and are dismissed bc of "Jensen said" is proof enough they do. That's why people don't accept no matter how much evidence you show them from the show that Dean is bi, writers siding with fans the antis will tell you -
"Fans don't change their opinions bc of am actor" I am sorry but if that were true then the only argument against bi Dean (again forget Destiel, that's not about Destiel) wouldn't be "Jensen said -" the fact no writer has ever denied bi Dean and the show gave multiple receipts -
